Welcome to the Flying Shoes Rider
July 1, 2006Welcome to my Flying Shoes blog. This blog is about my training for the 2007 MS 150 Bike Tour in Alberta. I am riding for my friend Michele who lives in Brooklyn NY. She is my inspiration to ride. Now I have to get a bike but I haven’t riden in a long time!
I have a bike now.

Seeing friends and colleagues struggle with any problem is never easy. Most of the time, there is not much we can do when it comes to mental or physical illness. All we can do is be there for support and comfort. We can let them know we are there. Then along comes an opportunity to do something that might provide hope. And we know, hope is a very powerful thing in our lives. The MS 150 Bike Tour is about hope. It lets people know that we care about them.
