Cycle for Survival

January 20, 2009

Spin 4 Cancer

I am going to participate in the third annual Cycle for Survival which takes place at Equinox in New York City and in satellite locations around the world. Along with my friend Elizabeth Barker who will be Spinning in New York, we will be raising funds that will support cancer research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

Equinox will host 200 teams, each with up to eight members. The four-hour cycling event will divide into four fifty-minute riding sessions per team. One bike is allotted to each team, with time on each bike divided among teammates according to their plan. The event offers options for satellite teams outside the NYC area.
